We sweep all types of chimney and stove flues from the traditional using the time honoured rod and brush set, to the more modern flexible flue liner and even twinwall chimneys, using the continuous cable viper chimney cleaning system.
All wood and multifuel burners should have the chimney swept approximately every 12 months. When each chimney is swept the job is completed with a smoke test. The householder is then issued with a certificate recording the outcome.
Testing and certification is instructed by the working practices of the National Association of Chimney Sweeps. Certification is invaluable to Landlords and Holiday Cottage Owners.
We offer a complete service from chimney's sweeping to the fitting of wood and multifuel stoves with back boilers for heating and hotwater, including chimney lining.
We advise customers to keep up with maintenance on a chimney whilst not in use. For example: pointing, chimney stack maintenance, pots/cowels and removal of old TV aerials.
We only fit flue liners that are Hetas approved. Remember: a clean chimney is a safe chimney!
